The Girls Scouts of America and K12 Inc., are joining together to host the "I Want to Rock the Mall" YouTube contest open to Girls Scouts all over the country as part of the 100th anniversary of the Girl Scout movement.

The winner of the contest will perform live at the Girl Scouts Rock the Mall: 100th Anniversary Sing-Along in Washington, DC on June 9, 2012.

To enter, Girls Scouts should write an original song expressing what it means to be a Girl Scout today and upload a video of themselves performing the song to YouTube by April 20, 2012.  Contestants must be a registered Girl Scout in grade K-12 and must live in the United States.  Entry videos should be posted at www.youtube.com/GSRocktheMall.
