The Montgomery County Voluteer Center has posted the list of projects available to volunteers for this year's Community Service Day(s) on October 23 & 24.  There are over 48 opportunites all over the county, with plenty of them located in and around the Colesville area.  A sampling of the volunteer opportunities is below:

• Community Clean Up at Connecticut Estates, Valleywood Drive, Silver Spring
• Children's Thank Our Troops Card Project at the Silver Spring Regional Center, Ellsworth Drive, Silver Spring
• Autumn Clean-Up Day at Springvale Terrace Retirement Community, Springvale Road, Silver Spring
• Shepherd's Table's Help the Homesless Mini Walk, University Boulevard, Silver Spring
• Manna Food Center's Help Feed The Hungry Food Drive at Giant Food, New Hampshire Avenue, Colesville
