Hurricane Sandy: What's Closed, What's Open in Wheaton
Some businesses that closed their doors Monday because of the hurricane conditions are reopening Tuesday.
UPDATE, Tuesday, Oct. 30, 9:30 a.m.:
Westfield Wheaton has confirmed that mall small stores and restaurants will open at 11 a.m. Anchor stores will open at their regular times, according to a Twitter update.
LA Fitness is not open as of 9 a.m.
UPDATE, Monday, Oct. 29, 8:50 p.m.:
The Limerick Pub is reopening Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. for a "post-Sandy party" with pumpkin carving and food specials.
UPDATE, 6:20 p.m.:
Hollywood East Cafe is closing at 8 p.m., according to a Twitter update.
UPDATE, 3:10 p.m.:
Westfield Wheaton announced the following business updates via Facebook:
- Target will be closing at 4 p.m.
- Dick's Sporting Goods will close at 7 p.m.
- Giant will be open until midnight.
- Hollywood East Cafe and PJ's Rice Bistro at Restaurant Row will remain open until this evening.
UPDATE, 10:17 a.m.: Westfield Wheaton is closed.
