Ice Skate for Free in Silver Spring Saturday
Disney's latest release "Santa Paws 2" is sponsoring an hour of free ice skating at Veterans Plaza.
Lace up the ice skates for an hour of free skating at Veterans Plaza in Silver Spring this Saturday, Nov. 17 beginning at 11 a.m. Disney's Santa Paws 2: The Santa Pups is sponsoring the free skate to celebrate the release.
Expect hot cocoa, free movie posters and a chance to win a copy of the film.
The skate coincides with the Montgomery County Thanksgiving Parade, which begins at 10 a.m. near Ellsworth Drive and Fenton Street.
