Mrs. K's Tollhouse a Top Brunch Spot on National List
The Silver Spring restaurant was one of only two Maryland restaurants to make Open Table's list.
A lot of people have already said Mrs. K's Toll House is one of the best brunch destinations in Silver Spring. Now, the users of Open Table, a restaurant reservation website, has named the Mrs. K's as one of the best places for brunch in the nation.
It and Gertrude's in Baltimore, were the only places in Maryland named to the list.
The restaurant also took home majority of votes in a recent Mother's Day brunch poll on Patch.
“We have been the best brunch for the past 12 years [in this area]. It’s very good,” said Spiro Gioldasis, general manager of Mrs. K's Toll House.
On an average Sunday they serve about 300 to 400 guests.
Mrs. K's Toll House is located at 9201 Colesville Rd.
