Easy. It's Pacci's. Pacci's would and does make the list for "best of greater DC," not just greater Silver Spring.

Best pizza is Dominic's on New Hampshire at Thomas Drive. Their toppings are fresh and abundantly spread over a delightful sauce and equally abundant cheese. Vegetables are especially nice since they are sliced or chopped perfectly and make for an enjoyable and rather tidy experience - rather than an awkward wrestling match like a lot of places where vegetables would have to be cut with a knife and fork. Crust choices are available and we have never been disappointed. Special requests like "crisping the crust" are warmly welcomed. We like to dine there since the clientele are regulars and it is clear they enjoy the friendly service and great food.

Nuthouse Pizza, on Georgia Avenue in Wheaton, has a special batch of pizzas with no eggs in the crust and uses microbial cheeses. Catering to vegetarians... They get my vote.
