It hasn't been a very white winter, so when weather forecasters predicted the Washington, DC, area would receive a dusting of snow, some of us in Silver Spring were pretty excited.
The 1-inch that dusted Montgomery County was enough to delay school openings by two hours and got many of you smartphone photographers snapping pics.
