Police Report 92-Year-Old Woman Home and Safe
Antoinette McCrary Nowell is back with her family.
Updated, 4:20 a.m.: Montgomery County Police report that Antoinette McCrary Nowell was found Friday morning uninjured. She was reunited with family.
Original post, Sept. 30 1 a.m.: Montgomery County Police are asking for the public's help to locate 92-year-old Silver Spring resident Antoinette McCrary Nowell, who suffers from a thyroid disorder and possibly undiagnosed dementia, according to an official release.
On Thursday about 1 p.m., Nowell was last seen leaving her home on the 10200 block of Green Holly Terrace. She may have been heading to Whole Foods Market at 833 Wayne Ave., or Sniders Super Foods at 1936 Seminary Rd. Her car is described as a tan, 1992 four-door Ford Escort with Maryland tags 408AGM.
It's unclear if she made it to either grocery store.
Nowell is described as standing 5-feet 6-inches tall and weighing 130 pounds with white hair. She was last seen wearing a white sweater and slacks of an unknown color.
