Police: Victims 'Uncooperative' in Silver Spring Shooting
Two men suffered non-threatening gunshot wounds near a restaurant in Silver Spring Tuesday night, police said.
Two men who were shot and wounded Tuesday night near a Chinese restaurant in Silver Spring are not cooperating in the police investigation, a police spokeswoman said.
"They're really not forthcoming with any information, so I'm not sure how far we're going to get on this," said Officer Janelle Smith, a spokesperson for Montgomery County Police.
Officers originally responded to the Golden China restaurant on Old Columbia Pike in the Fairland neighborhood of Silver Spring a few minutes after 7 p.m. Tuesday with a report of a stabbing, according to police.
Not finding any victims at the restaurant, police then discovered the two men with gunshot wounds in a car a couple of miles from the restaurant. The victim' injuries were non-life threatening.
No suspects were located and the victims have not provided police with any details about the shooting, Smith said.
