Readers' Choice Winner: Green Apple Deli
Declare once and for all which businesses are the best.
Update, March 30: We have a favorite! Green Apple Deli in Colesville makes the best sandwiches in the area.
The newly opened convenience store and deli on New Hampshire Avenue was chosen by 17 readers, over 56 percent of voters.
According to Colesville Patch's food writer Phyllis Armstrong, the deli offers a variety of sandwiches:
The tuna, roast beef, Italian cold cuts and turkey are among customers' favorites. They can order the paninis on the menu, regular sandwiches or select the meat, cheese, bread and spread they prefer for a price of $4.50 to $6.50.
The sandwiches are made with a sun-dried tomato, garlic, hot pepper, mustard or ranch sauce, another Green Apple specialty.
Head to Green Apple Deli to try one for yourself.
Panera on Tech Road came in second and previous Readers' Choice winner The Bagelry on Vital Way came in third.
Stay tuned for next week's poll!
