Woman Injured After Tree Falls on Vehicle
The victim sustained minor injuries, fire and rescue officials said.

A woman sustained minor injuries after a tree fell on the vehicle she was inside of Wednesday afternoon, according to a spokesperson for Montgomery County Fire and Rescue.
The tree came down in the 2900 block of New Castle Avenue in Silver Spring around 3 p.m. March 6. Two people were inside of the vehicle, but the second occupant was uninjured.
The victim was treated at a local hospital.
