We are so excited for our upcoming cocktail reception to celebrate our 30th anniversary! We're taking over the Rooftop at Rockville Town Center on Oct. 4 for an evening bash to celebrate all we've done in Montgomery County in the past 30 years. If you're used to our usual annual Benefit Breakfast, you're in for a real treat—we know you'll have a blast!
The coolest part of this event is the Taste of MoCo restaurant aspect that we have included. Area restaurants will be coming in to give out tastings of their best and well-known dishes, so we'll have a wonderful variety of food. We're excited that Blackfinn Bethesda, Buffalo Wild Wings in Rockville, La Tasca in Rockville, The Melting Pot in Gaithersburg, Oro Pomodoro in Rockville and local business Mike & Cookies have all agreed to participate, with more to be confirmed.
We'll also have fun things like photos from past projects, a 30-year timeline of all of Habitat for Humanity Montgomery County's milestones, raffles and gifts and an open bar!
In case you're not familiar with Habitat for Humanity but always have wanted to get involved or learn more about what we do, our 30th anniversary celebration is the perfect way to be introduced to our organization and become familiar with the role we have in the local community. Many of our longtime supporters and friends will be in attendance, including several members of the Montgomery County Council and Gaithersburg City Council. Maryland Senators Barbara Mikulski and Ben Cardin also plan to send representatives.
Tickets are on sale online through our website, www.habitat-mc.org or contact beatrice.santacroce@habitat-mc.org. Event sponsorship and program advertising opportunities are also available. Please contact Beatrice with any questions! We look forward to celebrating 30 years of building together.
