To bring a better quality of life to residents and business owners in the Long Branch community, county planners are inking a plan that considers ways to improve connections for pedestrians, cyclists and motorists, bring a mix of homes, offices, retail and entertainment uses, and upgrade public spaces like parks and streetfronts. With the coming of the Purple Line light rail station, Long Branch is poised for positive change.

More About Rolling Terrace Elementary School
The Rolling Terrace Elementary School, located on Bayfield Street in a cozy residential neighborhood, is part of an International Magnet Program. The students come from twenty different countries and speak Spanish, Vietnamese, Khmer, Chinese, French Creole and Korean, to name a few. The school offers Spanish immersion, Horizon daycare, the Judy Center and Linkages to Learning and it has a family center. The school mascot is the tiger. There is a school information handbook available on its Web site.
