Each performance on the Origins Concert Series features a world premiere presented alongside music from a variety of other time periods. Now in its third season, and supported by a grant from the Arts and Humanities Commission of Montgomery County, the series is a hub for adventurous music seekers who are excited to peer beyond the classical and popular music culture into new sonorities. Yet they can enjoy basking in those familiar sonorities as well throughout the course of the concert.

The Episcopal Anglican Church of the Ascension provides ministry programs to meet the educational, spiritual, liturgical and pastoral needs of the community. The church has a nursery for babies and toddlers, for parents who wish to have their children supervised during services. There is also a choir and a music ministry.
