Paint Branch High School, 14121 Old Columbia Pike, Burtonsville, MD | Get Directions »
$7.00
On Friday, November 9, Paint Branch Perspectives will present Harvey by Mary Chase. The play runs for two consecutive weekends, November 9-10, and November 16-17. Doors open at 6:30 pm with the show beginning at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $7.00.
The classic stage hit, Harvey, takes center stage at the new Paint Branch Theater this November. Harvey is a six-foot-tall rabbit not everyone can see, and is the best friend of Elwood P. Dowd, much to the exasperation of his sister, Veta. In order to save the family’s social reputation and in hopes of marrying off her less than sweet young daughter to the right kind of man, Veta takes Elwood to the local sanatorium. When the doctors mistakenly commit his anxiety-ridden sister, Elwood—and Harvey—slip out of the hospital unbothered, setting off a hilarious whirlwind of confusion and chaos.
With performances by veterans to the Paint Branch stage, as well as a few talented new-comers, this show is a must see!
Be sure to join the cast in christening the Paint Branch Theater and enjoy an engaging evening with Harvey.
