1.) Expect another hot day, with temperatures in the 90s, before temperatures fall back into the 70s on Friday, The Weather Channel reports.

2.) Striking Potomac Disposal workers head back to work on Thursday, while negotiations for health insurance and higher pay continue. A striking worker was hit by a Potomac Disposal garbage truck outside the company's gates on Wednesday morning. Read more on Patch.

3.) Jaleo Bethesda's renovation is done, and it's quite stunning. Especially interesting are the combination foosball/dining tables, with foosball figurines dressed in unique costumes.

4.) Houses in Silver Spring are selling for between $110,000 and $750,000 this week.
