American Univ. hosts interfaith meditation this Tu. @6-7 pm

Researchers in 2010 found that among American college students even brief periods of meditation can enhance mood, memory, and attention.  (Zeidan, F. et al.  Mindfulness meditation improves cognition: Evidence of brief mental training.)  

 

American University’s Kay Spiritual Life Center hosts an interfaith program of Christian and Sikh meditations this Tuesday, November 12 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with Fr. Carlos Quijano, Catholic Chaplain at American University, and Professor Surjit Mansingh, Sikh Chaplain at American University.  Kay Chapel, 4400 Massachusetts Avenue, NW – Washington, D.C.  By voluntary donation.
