Now Accepting Acupuncture Patients at the Natural Care Center

My name is Ashley Mahood Paraiso, and I am an  Acupuncture Intern at the Maryland University for Integrative Health (MUIH), located in nearby Laurel.

I am currently accepting acupuncture patients at MUIH's Natural Care Center.  By all accounts, this is a really wonderful opportunity to receive treatment from the undivided attention of an acupuncture student intern (with the support from a licensed clinical supervisor), and help with all manner of body-mind-spirit issues.  Acupuncture is about restoring balance in your life, and as such, it can support you where you need it most – physically, emotionally, spiritually, mentally.  No issue is too big or too small.

Another benefit of being treated in the Natural Care Center is that the cost for treatment is about half as much as you may pay elsewhere.  The Natural Care Center can also provide you with documentation to submit to your insurance company, in the case that they cover acupuncture.  The initial consultation and exam is $70, and follow up treatments are $55.

I would love to help support you and your wellness through acupuncture.  Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns, or would like to make an appointment.  I promise you, you won’t regret it!

In partnership,

Ashley Mahood Paraiso
