Somebody who bought a Powerball ticket in Anne Arundel County for Saturday night's drawing is a millionaire.

WBAL reports the winning Powerball ticket was bought at JJ’s Tavern, 1018 First St. in Glen Burnie.

There are also two winning Mega Millions tickets that have not been claimed. A $1 million ticket was sold in Essex last month and a $207 million Mega Millions ticket was sold for last Tuesday’s drawing, officials said.

The winning Powerball numbers for Saturday, March 22, were: 13, 28, 31, 55, 58 with the Powerball 15.

Winning a million dollars in Maryland doesn't make you a millionaire. After Fed taxes and the greedy Maryland taxes you are lucky if you end up with 350K. The two people who won the Mega Million jackpot - one from Maryland and one from Florida - guess who walked away with the most cash after taxes.

Its funny George, no one ever mentions the fact that the state wins the lottery too... sometimes more than the person! our state wants us to play and play and play so they can win and win and win.
