Fireworks Blast Across the County
MONTGOMERY COUNTY — Why drive into the District to see fireworks on Independence Day when you can crane your neck right here? Montgomery County is hosting displays at South Germantown Recreational Park in Boyds and at Albert Einstein High School in Kensington on Wednesday, July 4. The fireworks will start at around 9:15 p.m. There’s a list of regional fireworks shows on Potomac Patch.

Tiger Sightings in Bethesda?
BETHESDA — AT&T National Golf Tournament returns to Congressional Country Club this week, bringing 120 of the top PGA Tour professionals – including Tiger Woods — to the greens. The tournament continues through July 1. Bethesda Patch offers a guide to parking and getting around.

A ‘Playful’ Exhibit at BlackRock
GERMANTOWN — Works by Mark Behme, Mark Giaimo and Emily Green Liddle will be on view through July 21. The gallery is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday. The gallery will also be open on Saturday evenings in July, before and during the free summer concerts at BlackRock. Main Gallery.  12901 Town Commons Drive. The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe
BETHESDA — Summer production of The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe fuses theater, dance and puppetry. Presented by Imagination Stage and The Washington Ballet.
