Branford Marsalis to Headline Silver Spring Jazz Festival

The 10th annual festival takes place in September.

Here's something to look forward to this September: Branford Marsalis is headlining the 10th annual Silver Spring Jazz Festival on Sept. 7.

Marsalis is a Grammy Award-winning saxophonist and a Tony Award nominee; he also belongs to a family described by The New York Times as “jazz’s most storied living dynasty."

In fact, his brother, jazz musician Wynton Marsalis, headlined the Silver Spring festival in 2005.
