Dessert with Divas
Metamorphasis Boutique invites ladies from all over Washington metropolitan area to come in for tasty treats and trendy tips.
"Dessert With Divas" offered more than delicious treats and a personal shopping experience. The event, hosted by Metamorphasis Boutique, on Nov. 12 invited women to learn about maintaining healthy skin, financial counseling and the opportunity to connect with other women in the area. Co-hosts Athalia Patton, sales associate for Arbonne, and Adona Leonard, Acce'nt Team Financial Services, debuted the women's empowerment spa event to help foster new relationships.
"I love events where there is a gathering of women," said small business owner Pamela F. Luckett.
Leonard's specialty is helping women become financially free. She teaches them one-on-one about saving for retirement, saving for their children's college funds and how to "walk tall" through financial freedom.

During the event the women listened to a presentation and were given the opportunity to talk about some of the issues they struggle with. They also played games and raffles, and did some shopping to keep the event lighthearted as well as educational.
Some women brought their daughters, friends and husbands to indulge in the free advice, samples and light refreshments.
