Please join us for this special evening of music, featuring
Soprano Ivy Hylton. Ivy Anderson Hylton, whose voice exemplifies beauty, grace and power, has been described as having the voice of an angel. Her talent is hereditary as she is the descendant of the Opera Great Marian Anderson, whose powerful performance on the Capitol Steps helped transform the nation.
Ivy Anderson Hylton has shared the stage with musical greats such as The Winans, Deniece Williams, and the Clark Sisters, and has performed at the Kennedy Center, the National Cathedral, New York’s Lincoln Center and the great concert halls of Europe. In addition, Ms. Hylton is a talented spiritual healer,teacher and uses her voice as one of many tools to support the transformation of consciousness. Therefore, the Takoma Park Chapel is blessed to have Ivy as our Special Musical Guest on Saturday, September 8. This concert will also include the Sacred Sounds of Cleveland Chandler, Melanie Carter and others. The tickets for this Fundraiser are $35, for an evening you won’t forget!
