Intermediate Bookbinding Worshop Series

Do you have some experience with bookbinding, but want to take it to the next level? In this series of two evening workshops, we will experience the delights of three exposed sewing structures, including longstitch, two-needle coptic stitch, and sewing over tapes.

Each student will use decorative paper and a rainbow of colored waxed linen thread to create their own collection of uniquely designed books. This new format will give you the chance to explore how different materials and book designs can showcase your art or writing. Students should have a strong understanding of basic bookbinding skills for this class.
