Free Fitness

"Early Bird Fitness" is a way the whole family can stay in shape for free.

On the first Sunday of every month, Early Bird Fitness instructors meet in Silver Spring Plaza to lead a group of men and women on the path to better health and wellness. 

The program was started by Deborah Levy and her business partner Robyn Osborn as a way to show people how to stay in shape without having to own a membership to a gym. They encourage and promote health tips and exercise regimens that can be found around the house. Levy, an Early Bird Fitness instructor/volunteer described it as "Free fitness that is geared towards everyone."

Robyn runs a fitness boot camp in Takoma Park three times a week and although there is a charge for that, Early Bird Fitness is always free and open to the public. They meeting every first Sunday across in Silver Spring Plaza by the fountain from 8am to 9am.
