Where/When: Join other Silver Spring moms and their little ones Friday, June 15 at the AFI Silver Theatre and Cultural Center located at 8633 Colesville Rd.

Why go: You will also be able to meet up with other moms in the area and enjoy time out of the house with the baby.

Pricing: $8.50 for adults and babies are free, includes free stroller parking.

3. CHOCOLATE MAKING 101 FOR TWO

Where/When: Head Chocolatier Crisoire Reid teaches you secrets of the trade on Friday, June 15 from 6 p.m to 8:30 p.m. at Spagnvola located at 360 Main St, Gaithersburg, MD.

Why go: You ever wonder how chocolate is created to give you that sweet little treat that melts in your mouth? Well, this weekend is your chance to discover the secret within.

Pricing: $50

4. FENWICK BEER AND WINE TASTING

Where/When: The beer and wine store is located on 1327 Fenwick Ln. There will be two tastings. On Friday, June 15 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Saturday, June 16 from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Why go: On Friday, you can enjoy French, German, and Spanish summer wines. On Saturday, free beer tasting from the Lancaster Brewery.

5.  CHILDREN’S ART STUDIO

Where/When: Children’s Art Studio located 4723 Wisconsin Ave NW, Washington, DC 20016 on Saturday, June 16 from 10 a.m. to noon.
