Silver Spring Baby Boomers Can Join Fun Social Group
There are about 20 planned events so far, according to the Montgomery County baby boomer meetup website.
Elderly men and women in their fifties and sixties use online media groups such as meetup.com to organize social outings in the area.
With about 10 gatherings a month and 200 members, organizers spare no time with church tours, book clubs, a hockey potluck party, ping pong and much more.
