What's at AFI? Month of Marilyn, Beasts of the Southern Wild

What to do, what to do, what to do this weekend? If you're of the cinematic persuasion there aren't many things more appealing than the prospect of a couple of hours in a cold, dark theater. That's where AFI Silver Theatre in downtown Silver Spring comes in. 

Heading into the weekend, AFI's got classics and indie flicks alike. As part of a Marilyn Monroe retrospective, All About Eve is playing Thursday night while the theater continues its daily showing of critically acclaimed indie Beasts of the Southern Wild.
