Community Corner

Tour to Expose Fake Clinics

Have you ever heard of a so-called "crisis pregnancy center” (CPC)? Or have you seen a billboard that reads "Pregnant? Need Help?” Well, those signs are ads for CPCs - unregulated, unlicensed organizations that often pose as legitimate health centers and frequently misinform, mislead, and manipulate women facing unintended pregnancy.

NARAL Pro-Choice Maryland Fund is partnering with students and community leaders across the state to educate Marylanders about CPCs with our Tour to Expose Fake Clinics.

We are excited to announce that Silver Spring will be the third stop on our Tour to Expose Fake Clinics. We will present the award-winning film, 12th & Delaware, which follows activity on a street corner in Florida where a women's health clinic stands across from a CPC, followed by a panel discussion. The film doesn't take a position on choice - it starts a conversation.
