Free Meal for Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-fil-A

The eighth annual Cow Appreciation Day is Friday, July 13.

It's that time of year again.

One of the only days it's acceptable to wear your cow costume three months before Halloween: Cow Appreciation Day (CAD).

What is CAD you ask? Well, it's a campaign by Chick-fil-A to encourage customers to dress in cow attire from "head to hoof" and win a free meal which could be a breakfast, lunch or dinner.

You don't have to completely dress up when you visit any one of the company’s 48 area restaurants if you don't want to. Wearing a cow-spotted scarf, purse, tie, hat or other accessory can also win customers a complimentary entrée.
