Fillmore Announces Opening Lineup for Silver Spring Venue
Mary J. Blige, Blackstar, Blondie and more slated for Fall 2011.
On their Facebook page, The Fillmore announced the opening lineup for the much-anticipated venue, with Mary J. Blige kicking things off on Thursday, September 15. The schedule includes a variety of musical and comedy acts, from Mos Def and Talib Kweli’s Black Star, to 80’s stalwarts Blondie, Cheap Trick and the Psychedelic Furs to county star Clayton Anderson and acidic comic Lewis Black.
Tickets for these opening acts go on sale at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 29 at www.fillmoresilverspring.com. On the website, you can also sign up for the Fillmore’s newsletter to get advance notice of future presale opportunities.
