2.  HEALTHY KIDS DAY AT THE YMCA

Where/When: YMCA Silver Spring located at 9800 Hastings Dr. on Saturday, April 28 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Why go: Stop by with the kids to enjoy free activities!

Pricing: The event free and open to all. 

3.  MAISIE DUNBAR’S HATTITUDE

Where/When: Maisie Dunbar’s Spa and Lounge located at 8711 First Avenue in Silver Spring on Sunday, April 29. The event starts at 2 p.m.

Why go: Join Andrea Bray, the Hat Lady, as she shares everything you need to know about hats. Fashion stylist, Cathy Eastman and Celebrity MakeupArtist, Maisie Dunbar will be on hand for each event.

4. MCGINTY’S PUBLIC HOUSE JAMS OUT TO IRISH GROOVES

Where/When: McGinty’s Public House located at 911 Ellsworth Dr Silver Spring on Friday, April 28. The band starts at 8 p.m.

Why go: Shannon Tide plays high-energy Irish music and fields five of the Washington area's most talented and experienced musicians. Playing everything from traditional jigs and reels to the Dubliners and the Pogues, Shannon Tide are set to create a fun filled party atmosphere during their first performance at McGinty’s.

5.  PAWS AT THE PARK

Where/When: Bohrer Park at Summit Hall Farm located at 506 S. Frederick Ave, Gaithersburg on Saturday, April 28 between noon and 4 p.m.

Why Go:  Show the pooch in your life a good time! There will be a doggie bone hunt, clicker training demo, nose work demo and more.
