Patch Picks: Seeking A Spot for the Super Bowl in Silver Spring

If you still haven't figured out where to watch The Super Bowl, no worries, Patch has you covered.

Silver Spring is full of great restaraunts, bars and clubs, but not everyone will show Sunday's battle between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers.

Here are Patch's Top Five Places to watch the Super Bowl in Silver Spring:

1.   is expecting big crowds for $3 pints, $5 brand name margaritas and $.50 wings. Five 50” flat screens and two 55” TVs should give everyone a good view of the Super Bowl.

2.   will show the game on their 4-ft projection screen on the ground floor, while four flat screens are available on the upper level. Happy hour deals will be available, and they suggest arriving one to two hours prior to kick-0off for a good seat.

3.   will show the big game on all 15 of their 41” and larger TV’s from 41” scattered among the bar’s two floors. There is no cover charge or minimum and plenty of food and drink specials to keep Steelers and Packers fan happy.

4.  Seats near the ’s 6-foot projection screen TV are sure to be a coveted destination for football fans this Sunday. Get there early and take advantage of “Buckets of Beer” for $12 and $.50 wings.

5.  The Corner Pub, located at the intersection of Colesville Road and University Boulevard is a popular place for local sports fans, and will show the game on numerous flat screen TVs. Super Bowl specials include wing and pizza deals.
