Residents of the Riderwood retirement home are welcoming a new vice president of business development. His former role was in financial planning, analysis and reporting.
Scott Gensler was promoted to his new position in July. He will lead Erickson Living, developer and manager of Riderwood, by identifying and evaluating new business opportunities.
“Scott’s extensive company and industry experience make him a perfect fit for this position,” Adam Kane, senior vice president, corporate affairs said. “He is one of the most respected leaders in our company, and has made Erickson Living’s business planning process a model for the industry.”
Gensler isn’t new to the company. He has been with it for over 15 years.
“I’m excited about the senior housing industry and believe our company is stronger than ever and positioned for long-term success,” Gensler said. “Clearly, the need and demand for senior housing is here today with over 75 million baby boomers on the verge of retirement.”
