Stretching the Family Budget

Welcome back to our weekly rundown of five local deals to help with your family’s bottom line. Since we do the scouting, we save you time as well as money.

For this week marking the unofficial end-of-summer (also known as school opening week), we rounded up a few deals to help ease the transition. Plus, a deal to save on picking up one of those post-hurricane repair items and more. Remember to check with the merchant for any additional conditions, if any:

Deal:  Get two nine-inch, one-topping pizzas for $13.99, or one large pizza and 10 wings for $19.99 with their Valpak coupons.

Deal: Enjoy the last of the summer cool beverages and save--take $1 off any blended beverage when you show their coupon.

Deal: Pick up an item or two for those post-hurricane repairs and save 20 percent on a regularly-priced item with their coupon.

Good through: Sept. 11.

Deal: Get 15 percent off of any drycleaning of $10 or more; or 20 percent off of $20 or more orders with their coupons. (Also get shirts cleaned for $1.35 with orders of $10 or more).

Deal: All denim items are buy one, get one 50 percent off during their denim sale, in store and online. (and sign up for the email club for more savings).
