CRESA WASHINGTON DC NEGOTIATES FOR ASSOCIATED INSURANCE MANAGEMENT IN 19,426-SQUARE-FOOT RELOCATION TO 1300 SPRING ST. IN SILVER SPRING

April 14, 2014 (Silver Spring, MD) – Cresa Washington DC, a corporate real estate advisory firm that exclusively represents tenants and specializes in the delivery of fully integrated services, announces today that it negotiated on behalf of Associated Insurance Management (“AIM”) for a 19,426-square-foot relocation to 1300 Spring St. in Silver Spring.

In this new long-term deal, Cresa Washington DC Managing Principal Gene Sachs and Principal Matthew Ward represented AIM.

Currently housed at 8120 Fenton St., also in Silver Spring, AIM plans to move to its new office at 1300 Spring St., a property owned by 1300 Spring Street LLC, later this year.

“We’re quite pleased to have assisted Associated Insurance Management in its negotiation to relocate to 1300 Spring St.,” Ward says, noting that this client limited its search to the Silver Spring submarket. “We negotiated a transaction with extremely competitive economic terms that provides AIM with additional space to grow in an upgraded facility that is also in close proximity to Metro and a wealth of amenities.”
