It's Tuesday and it's time to continue your week, so read the five things you need to know to stay up-to-date about what’s going on in the community. Who knows, it may even help your day go by faster!
1. Get your shades and light cotton tops out. The National Weather Service predicts today will be full of sunshine with a Hi of 80 degrees. Later on the evening, there will be a 20 percent slight chance of thunderstorms with a Lo of 64 degrees.
2. Hearing for proposed hike in rates for the Ride-On Bus fare. Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett is proposing an increase of the Ride-On monthly pass fare from $30 to $45, beginning July 2011.
