Happy Wednesday Silver Spring! Here are five things you need to know as you begin the middle of the week.

Good Morning! What five things do you need to know to stay up-to-date about what’s going on in the community? Patch has you covered this Wednesday:

1. Expect a sunny day with a high of 91 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. The evening will be partly cloudy with a low around 64 degrees—great weather for all the events happening in the community today! Keep reading to find out the details.

2. Bring the whole family out to see the radio station WPGC "Naturals" challenge the Montgomery County Coalition of Black Police Officers (COBPOs) in at . Meet WPGC personalities and Montgomery County Police officers and win prizes. 3. Looking for something fun to do at lunchtime? Whole Foods Market Silver Spring departments will join forces to create from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. The food sampled varies from cheeses, fresh seafood and salad from the deli.

4. Come out to Veterans Plaza and enjoy two great performers during the last date of . The entire family will enjoy artists Great Zucchini at 10:30 a.m. and Milkshake at 6:30 p.m.
