5 Things You Need to Know Today: July 8

A look at five things you need to know to help get you through the day.

Good Morning! What five things do you need to know to stay up-to-date about what’s going on in the community? Patch has you covered this Friday morning:

1. The National Weather Service predicts thunderstorms Friday and a flood watch with temperatures in the mid 80s. Into the evening, showers and thunderstorms are a high possibility with temperatures dropping to the low 70s.

On Saturday, there is a 30 percent chance of rain before noon, but as the day goes on you should notice the sun coming out and temperatures rising to the near 90s. Expect clear skies and a cooler evening with temperatures dropping into the low 60s.
