1. Today's weather is set to be bright and beautiful according to the National Weather service. The skies will be mostly sunny, with a Hi near 74 degrees and a wind from the East at 5 mph. Into the evening it should be partly cloudy, with a Lo around 52 degrees.
2. The popular duo "Dual Rhythm" performs on Veterans Plaza at the Silver Spring Civic Center Building. The performance is free and starts at 7 p.m.
