5 Things You Need to Know Today: May 4

I love hump day! What five things do you need to know to stay up-to-date about what’s going on in the community? Well, Patch has you covered - and who knows, they may even help your day go by faster!

1. The National Weather Service predicts today will be rainy during the morning commute. The showers may mainly come before 8 a.m. with a high near 65 degrees throughout the day. Into the evening the temperature may drop to 45 degrees with clear skies.

2. Educators serving the community will be honored at the Strathmore tonight. The EduSerc Awards is a  black tie, red carpet fundraiser and awards ceremony that benefits youth programs around the country.
