Good morning, Silver Spring! Here are five things to know this Tuesday, to help you keep up-to-date about what’s going on in the community:

1. During your morning drive please stay alert for patches of fog on the road before 9 a.m., according to the National Weather Service. Throughout the day it should be mostly sunny with temperatures near 68 degrees and a light breeze.  Into the evening, the skies should be clear with temperatures dropping to the low 40s.

3. Interested in volunteering for this Thanksgiving holiday? Montgomery County Volunteer Center is looking for volunteers to help with food donations, deliver food and much more._

4. The community is invited to attend Silver Spring Stories: A Conversation About Community & Immigration hosted by the Smithsonian Institute at the AFI theater. Residents will have the opportunity to meet their neighbors and learn about the growing diversity in Silver Spring. The free event starts at 6:30 p.m. at the American Film Institute (AFI) located at 8633 Colesville Rd.
