Happy Wednesday, Silver Spring! Here are five things to know today, to help you keep up-to-date about what’s going on in the community:

1. Expect another sunny day with temperatures reaching a high near 75 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Later into the evening, the temperatures are expected to drop to the mid-40s. 

2. Protect yourself from fraud. The Maryland Department of Aging is inviting seniors to attend a seminar and lunch with legal and medicare fraud experts. The seminar is free and starts at 10 a.m.

3. If you missed it, a Silver Spring resident celebrated her 105th birthday with friends and family at the Springvale Terrace Retiremement Community

4. Montgomery County Police released a composite sketch of the attempted-rape suspect. The male suspect is described as a Hispanic male standing 5-feet, 6-inches tall and weighing about 185 pounds.
