Welcome to Thursday, Silver Spring! Here are five things to know today, to help you keep up-to-date about what’s going on in the community:

1. There is a chance of scattered showers, with temperatures reaching 74 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Into the evening, the skies may clear up, with temperatures dropping as low as 48 degrees.

2. Headed to Fillmore Silver Spring for a concert? Here are the quick facts you should know if you are attending and a Silver Spring Patch transportation  to the performances is also included.

3. If you missed our story about the proposed teen curfew, Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett (D) said, "Any study you bring to me, I could debunk it," because variables like population density, income and geography vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. Add your opinion to the story.
