Breast-Feeding Booth Educates Public About the Law

The educational booth is a part of a series.

La Leche League leaders, , set up their educational booth near the fountain in downtown Silver Spring on Saturday to bring awareness to the issue.

After a recent public breast-feeding incident captured the attention of many local mothers, the downtown Silver Spring management company launched a program to educate their customers and staff about breast-feeding.

The effort outlined steps that Peterson Companies’ management are implementing, including, educating its staff about the law, handing out copies of the breast-feeding law, and requiring security guards to carry copies of the law.
