The severe thunderstorm risk is slight, NWS says, but advises some storms will be capable of damaging wind gusts and hail—and a few could produce tornadoes.

The highs this afternoon will be in the upper 80s with the chance of rain 70 percent, according to NWS. Tonight will be mostly cloudy with showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly in the evening, and lows in the upper 60s.
