The local Pacifica radio station WPFW 89.3 FM is set to host a town hall meeting about the state of public radio on Thursday, April 21, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Amy Goodman, the host of Democracy Now!, will open the event located at the Silver Spring Civic Center located at 1 Veterans Place, in downtown Silver Spring. Goodman sat down with Silver Spring Patch to talk about her views of the current state of the media.
