Break a World Record in Your Underwear in a Music Video

Let's Break a Record!

On Saturday, November 16th, Wheelie will welcome over 550 people through the doors of Stroga Ballroom in Washington, DC to shoot a music video for their single "The Underwear Song" and attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the Most Back Up Dancers (in their tighty whities).

Why?

Short Story: Because you get to attempt a world record, be in a music video that will go viral, and dance around in your underwear!

Longer Story: Wheelie's goal for the video, "The Underwear Song," is to use the medium to promote the band's message of self-acceptance through the act of hedonistic escapism. The video will serve as a pure artistic expression of Wheelie's core belief that the most important thing you can do as an individual in our modern time is to throw off the shackles of your professional, adult responsibilities, and get in touch with the lost innocence of childhood. The video for "The Underwear Song" will promote the essence of that belief by filming people of all ages and body types stripping themselves down to their under garments, seemingly oblivious to shame and social conventions, while innocently dancing to a song promoting those ideals. The video will not sexualize the participants, but encourage the notion that Wheelie loves you and accepts you for who you are and wants you to do the same for yourself.
