Community Stories Festival: Share Your Silver Spring Story at an Oral Storytelling Workshop

Docs In Progress is pleased to present a series of screenings,
salons, and workshops to celebrate the power of documentary to reflect
the stories of our local communities in Silver Spring and Takoma Park. 
All events are free and open to the public.

This afternoon we'll be inviting local community members (past and present) to join us for an interactive storytelling sesion.

If you have a Silver Spring story of your own to share, come participate in an
interactive oral storytelling workshop to capture some of our Silver
Spring stories from days gone by and our current days.  We are looking
to create a space where folks from yesteryear can share with newcomers;
where young can share with old; and we can all learn from each other’s
experiences.
