Emma Vawter Solo Soprano Recital

Cedar Lane UU Church invites you to attend a solo recital
presented by Cedar Lane's "favorite daughter soprano," Emma Vawter,
in the Cedar Lane sanctuary on Sunday, July 20, at 4:30 PM.  Emma is a
life-long Cedar Laner who sang in the youth choir as a youngster and has been
soprano soloist and section leader for the Cedar Lane Choir for the past two
years.  In a few weeks she will be moving to Boulder, Colorado where she
intends to pursue a Master's Degree in operatic studies at the University of
Colorado College of Music.

Cedar Lane's accompanist, Jasmin Lee, will be at the piano and
Cedar Lane clarinetist, Kim Murray, will be a featured guest.  Repertoire
will include songs about nature by Schubert and Schumann, Spanish love songs by
Granados, pieces by Maryland composers John Duke and Lori Laitman, arias, and
some fun surprises!

Colorado.  All are invited to attend a reception following the recital. Please
join us for a wonderful afternoon of music-making as we send Emma on her way
with our love and support!
